RV Resort on the Lake is a country setting
on the outskirts of the city of Nanaimo.
Downtown Nanaimo and its oceanfront amenities are only 10 minutes
away by car. The city bus stops at our entrance to take you to
major shopping centres, and tourist attractions. Local convenience
shopping is also close to Resort on the Lake. The Nanaimo Regional
General Hospital is a 10 min. drive.
RV Resort on the Lake exemplifies the
best of this corner of the world. Our backyard is beautiful
and picturesque Westwood Lake, where you can swim in the calm,
warm waters of the lake, leisurely explore the protected shoreline
of the lake in kayaks or canoes, or fish for rainbow trout.
In our backyard you can go for serene walks along lakeshore
and forest trails, or lounge in our luxury clubhouse or on the
sandy white beaches of Westwood Lake.
Next to RV Resort on the Lake is 258 acre Westwood
Lake Park, with a 3.5 mile walking/jogging trail around
the lake. Nearby is Westwood Racquet Club, the finest tennis
facility in Nanaimo. Next to the Racquet Club is the Bethlehem
Retreat Centre with its quaint lakeside church. A walk to the
other side of the lake will take you past old growth forest
to the Morrell Wildlife Sanctuary. The Aquatic Centre for all
ages is within 5 minutes.

are everywhere. Restaurants are plentiful and varied to suit
